Dual Degree

To assist the many high school students seeking an educational experience combining a typical liberal arts program with a technological curriculum, Georgia Tech offers the Dual Degree Program. A dual degree student is a US citizen who attends a participating liberal arts college for three years, then attends Georgia Tech for approximately two years. Upon completion of the program at Tech, the student receives degrees from both the liberal arts college and from Georgia Tech. Programs of study at Georgia Tech may concentrate in any of the various engineering programs.

The list of colleges participating in the Dual Degree Program incorporates several units of the University System of Georgia, as well as Morehouse College, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, and approximately 25 other colleges and universities throughout the nation, including historically black colleges and women's colleges. Because of their classification as transfer students, Dual Degree Program applicants must meet all requirements for transfer (see Transfer Students website for more information) and all other requirements as defined by the Office of Undergraduate Admission and the Dual Degree Coordinator at the partner institution.

To apply to Georgia Tech as a Dual Degree student, the following items must be submitted:

• All information required in the How to Apply for Transfer Admission section.
• The completed Dual Degree Recommendation Form, obtained from the Dual Degree coordinator at the partner institution.
